AUW Photography Club (AUWPC) is a highly regarded student-run club at Asian University for Women (AUW), where the context of photography extends beyond learning photography techniques, and indeed, to use photography as an approach to shape the world. Since AUW is a melting pot of culturally diverse international students from all over the world, each culture represents a unique viewpoint through each stellar photographs.

The Concept
The 9th AUW Photo Carnival, organized by AUWPC, was a one-of-a-kind event because it was the first ever digitally hosted photography carnival in the middle of COVID19 lockdown. The prevailing situation was central to the theme "Hope: Finding Light Amidst Darkness." As a result, the color palette was deliberately chosen to be black and white with a pop of orange to reflect light in the darkness.
